A Wonderful Hotel in a Great Location!

My family and I stayed for a week at this lovely hotel, which is in a perfect location, just steps away from the Chatelet metro station and within walking distance of many sites (such as the Louvre) as well as the Seine River. It is surrounded by many cafes, brasseries, and shops and is in a very lively area. The hotel is on a pedestrian street, which adds to its charm. The decor in this hotel is exceptionally charming ! Although the rooms may be considered a little small by American standards, they are roomy enough, very nicely-appointed, and extremely comfortable. We slept very well in air-conditioned comfort. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which was served in a beautiful stone-walled room, and which included many fresh and delicious choices along with very attentive service.  In addition to its charm and its good location, this hotel has the most wonderful and friendly staff! In fact, the staff is its finest quality! We felt so welcomed by Laura and Audrey as well as by the rest of the staff.  Everyone was so kind and so helpful, and each staff member was very attentive to us. We are American, and everyone was kind enough to speak to us in English, although we did try to use our French as much as possible. We highly recommend Hotel des ducs d’Anjou and we are so happy to have met Laura and Audrey and the other cheerful and helpful employees! We hope to return to Paris someday and to once again stay at this lovely hotel.
